OUR
MISSION
Provide eye healthcare services and vision care products in an environment that exceeds the expectations of every patient that walks through our doors. We are committed to providing each patient and his/her family members with a personalized, consistent, and enriching experience.

Jacob Hayward, O.D.
Dr. Hayward spent a majority of his life in Maquoketa where he ended up graduating from Maquoketa High School ('05). He then went on to receive his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Iowa ('09) and welcomed more late nights of studying by completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis ('13).
In St. Louis, Dr. Hayward met and soon married his best friend, Caitlin, in October of 2012. While they both enjoyed the events and activities St. Louis had to offer, the appeal of family nearby and small town living was too hard to pass up. The Hayward's recently welcomed their two sons Miles & Merrick into their family and have made it their mission to make them smile, no matter how stupid they have to act to make it happen.
Dr. Hayward has waited and waited for the ideal opportunity to return to Maquoketa to help give back to the community that gave much to him. He is excited to be apart of the rebuilding and restoration of the downtown area in addition to helping the community flourish.
“My goal for each patient is for him or her to walk out of the eye examination feeling assured that all concerns were answered completely and the care received exceeded expectations.”
